Aims, Scope & Policies

Aims:

The journal endeavors to provide a free open access publishing platform for researchers in various domains. It includes studies and reviews from individuals or teams following international ethical guidelines following a stringent peer-review process. 

Scope:

The journal encompasses research within the following subject areas in both the online and offline format

1) Linguistics: English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi languages. 

2) Social sciences: Sociology, Psychology, History, Political Science, Economics, Library Sciences, Dance, Music, Religion, Geography, Media, Fine arts and Gender Studies.

3) Home Economics: Child/Human development, Food and nutrition, Family Resource Management, Clothing and textiles, Extension Education.
4) Commerce, Management & Law.
5) The journal does not accept research articles from STEM fields.

Editorial Policies:

1. Authorship and Contributorship:- Authors should meet the criteria for authorship as per international standards, contributing substantially to the research and manuscript preparation.  All authors must consent to submission and publication, and any significant contributors should be acknowledged appropriately with details on institutional affiliation and contact information.

2. Plagiarism and Originality:- Originality of research is paramount, and authors should ensure that their work is not plagiarized and properly cited. They are expected to share their plagiarism report from valid sites, along with the article submitted.

3. Conflicts of Interest and Funding Disclosure:- Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or publication process. Funding sources, financial interests, or affiliations that could present a conflict of interest should be transparently disclosed.

4. Peer Review Process:- The journal has a rigorous peer review process involving experts in the respective fields to assess the quality, validity, and relevance of submissions. Reviewers maintain confidentiality, provide constructive feedback, and declare any conflicts of interest.

5. Retraction Policy:- Articles may be retracted if errors, misconduct, or ethical violations are identified post-publication. Retractions will be issued with clear reasons and communicated prominently to readers.  Authors will be given the opportunity to respond to retraction notices and corrections.

 

6. Open Access Policy:- The journal offers open access options with clear licensing terms, publication fees, and access models. Authors can choose between open access and traditional publishing, ensuring broad dissemination of research findings. – Open access articles will be archived in digital repositories for long-term accessibility.

 

7. Archiving Policy:- Published content will be archived on the journal website.

 

8. Human and Animal Experimentation Policy:- Authors must adhere to ethical standards for human and animal experimentation, securing necessary approvals and consent. Manuscripts reporting experiments involving humans or animals must include ethical approval statements.  Authors should follow guidelines such as the Helsinki Declaration for human studies and ARRIVE guidelines for animal studies.

 

9. Permissions and Copyright Policy:- Authors are responsible for obtaining permissions for copyrighted materials, figures, and data used in their manuscripts. Proper attribution and citation practices must be followed to respect intellectual property rights.

 

10. Complaints and Corrections Policy:- Procedures are in place to address complaints related to editorial decisions, publication ethics, or content accuracy.  Authors, readers, and stakeholders can submit complaints through designated channels for investigation and resolution. – Corrections, clarifications, and retractions will be issued promptly for errors or misconduct identified in published articles.

 

11. Privacy and Data Protection Policy:- Authors must protect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals involved in research studies, ensuring compliance with data protection laws. – Data handling practices should safeguard sensitive information and follow best practices for data security. Manuscripts should include informed consent statements for studies involving human subjects, ensuring privacy protection.

 

12. Appeals Process Policy:- Authors can appeal editorial decisions or review outcomes through a formal appeals process.  Appeals will be reviewed by an independent panel or editorial board members not involved in the initial decision.  Transparency and fairness will guide the appeals process, ensuring authors can present their case.

 

13. Misconduct and Allegations Policy:- Allegations of research misconduct, ethical violations, or publication malpractice will be investigated promptly and thoroughly.  Misconduct allegations will be handled according to COPE guidelines, involving appropriate authorities and institutions if necessary
